The Agitated Gamer is happy to provide an easy-to-use Twitter API service to our fellow gamers.  You can use it to track your favorite games, or receive game information, including release date and review scores through your Twitter account.  We provide game information for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Nintendo DS, and PSP systems using the gamepro.com API.

How to access our Twitter API:

To access our API you need to follow @agitatedgamer.  Once you are followed back, the API can be accessed by sending a DM to @agitatedgamer.

Receive Game Information:

You can receive details on a certain game by DM’ing ‘info’ or ‘i’ followed by the platform: xbox360(or x), ps3(or p), wii(or w), psp, or ds, and the game’s title (ie. halo 3).

For example, you can retrieve information for halo 3 by IM’ing ‘i x halo 3′ or ‘info xbox360 halo 3′.  This will respond with the release date, rating info, and a link to the game details page on gamepro.com.

Track Game

Tracking a game will alert you when new items are posted to the game on gamepro.com.  It is accessed by using ‘track’ or ‘t’ instead of ‘info’or ‘i’.

For example, you can track updates on Gears of War 3 by DM’ing ‘t x gears of war 3′.
